corporate themes

bdht is a customer driven organisation.  Its services to its customers are designed in partnership with its customers and defined within a set of objectives or corporate themes.

The corporate themes are reviewed by the Board each year in September/October to ensure they still accurately reflect the wishes and needs of our customers.

The current corporate themes are:

Service Excellence
To maintain status as a top 10 percentile organisation driving performance to achieve 95% customer satisfaction by 2015.

Community
We will engage with residents and partners to raise tenant satisfaction with their neighbourhoods as a place to live and work hard to build successful communities.

Governance
To ensure that fully effective governance is operating at all levels of the organisation, that it is robust, adds value and offers genuine opportunity for residents to influence and scrutinise bdht’s strategy and service delivery.

Housing Solutions
To solve the housing needs for a minimum of 4000 people by 2015 by pursuing a wide range of strategies by providing additional accommodation, prevention of homelessness and maximising opportunity of access.

Business Growth
To grow the business through sustainable expansion of current and new services so as to achieve £0.5 million additional income over the period to 31st March 2015.
