bdht - building excellent communities with passion and pride

become a board member

bdht draws its Board members from 3 different areas:

•    Firstly from those nominated by Bromsgrove District Council.  This route is closed to external applicants as positions are normally filled by elected councillors who are nominated by the controlling group of the Council.

•    Secondly, and very importantly, tenants.  Tenant Board members are nominated to the main Board by Bromsgrove’s Community Forum.  In making its nominations the forum seeks to identify suitably committed tenants who, as far as possible, reflect the diverse make-up of bdht’s tenant base.

•    The final group of Board members are the independents.  These are experienced people from all walks of business life who are recruited by the Board to bring specific expertise and knowledge.

If you are interested in becoming a Board member we would very much like to hear from you.  Please contact our Chief Executive, Mike Brown on 01527 557557 or email him on mike.brown@bdht.co.uk. You can also visit our careers website www.bdhtcareers.co.uk for vacancies.
