Bdht and West Mercia Housing Group are working in partnership to develop 158 brand new homes. 55 of the new homes are available on a part rent part buy basis and 19 are intermediate market rent properties. Tuesday, March 02, 2010 : Funding Granted for New Housing Development in Perryfields
Along with West Mercia Housing Group, bdht are now on track to build 158 affordable homes between Perryfields Road and King George Close in Sidemoor. This new development will help start to tackle the housing shortage that sees over 3,000 residents on the waiting list for homes in the local area.
After receiving planning approval in September of last year, the approval of funding will enable build to begin in early Spring and will allow families to move in to their new homes in two years time. This development will also help boost the local economy by providing employment.

bdht has launched a brand new tenant handbook as part of its ongoing promise to customers to provide excellent service.
The new handbook, which was hand delivered to tenants, takes the form of a colourful, easy to update folder and is jam packed with information on bdht’s policies and services.

bdht’s Community Repairs team took over the operation of the Out of Hours Service in May 2009 and the first six months have been a great success.
