Our day-to-day business is concerned with people. Although we exist primarily to provide affordable homes, we are not a property business, we are a people business. We are involved with individuals, with their needs and the needs of the communities in which they live.
Housing is at a basic level shelter but good quality housing services are about a great deal more: social care, employment, equality of opportunity and the environment. Whist many of the issues that our customers face are within our gift, an equal if not greater number are not and require the creation and engagement of 'joined up thinking’. Whist this term is perhaps over used we fully recognise that it is only through effective partnership working with other organisations and agencies that we can truly deliver sustainable solutions to modern day challenges.
