bdht's responsibility for repairs

We will keep the structure and exterior of your home in good repair. We will maintain the pipes and wires for supplying water, gas and electricity. 

We are also responsible for:

  • The roof
  • Drains, gutters and external pipes, unless blocked by you
  • Outside walls, door and windows
  • Internal walls (except decoration), skirting boards and doors
  • Chimneys
  • Footpaths, steps and ramps
  • Garages and outhouses
  • Boundary walls and fences that are next to communal land
  • Stair lifts that we have installed
  • Electrical switches and lights supplied by bdht
