your responsibilities as a bdht customer

As a customer of bdht you are expected to take care of your home.  Please do not cause deliberate damage. You are responsible for carrying out some repairs. These include:

  • Anything that belongs to you
  • Decorating the inside of your home
  • Fitting curtains and shower rails
  • Repairs to improvements you have made
  • Damage, unless as a result of crime (A crime reference number is required)
  • Replacing toilet seats 
  • Changing light bulbs 
  • Replacing lost keys or changing locks, if you lost the keys.
  • Blocked drains and toilets, if blocked by you
