bdht plus
bdhtplus is a community support service for people living in the county of Worcestershire who need some help with everyday things such as:
- dealing with household bills and letters
- staying healthy
- finding hobbies and social activities
- managing money and making sure that benefits are claimed
- staying safe and secure
- managing cleaning and household tasks
- feeling involved with friends, family, neighbours and the community
bdht plus is available to bdht customers, people living in council, Housing Association or private rented housing and home owners.
The service is funded by Worcestershire County Council’s Supporting People Programme. While it is mainly for people aged 60 and over, we can also support younger people who have a need.
Support time is from half an hour to three hours each week. This can change from week to week, dependent on need. We work with other agencies to make sure that people get the best support possible for as long as it is needed.
