occupational therapy
Bdht has expanded upon its range of services it offers to tenants by funding Occupational Therapy (OT) in partnership with the Worcestershire Primary Care Trust.
Occupational Therapist Claire Hinder will be able to help tenants with physical difficulties by assessing their current living situations. By offering residents practical solutions, they will be able to live more independent lives.

As part of her role as an Occupational Therapist, Claire will be involved following the allocation of properties to tenants, offering advice and opinions in the planning of new properties and refurbishment of existing Bromsgrove properties, as well as helping to support the needs of disabled residents. Claire will also develop walk-in clinics and train bdht staff to carry out minor adaptations. Claire said: “I really take pride in being a Occupational therapist and I hope I can do my bit in helping tenants live more independent and fulfilling lives.”
“By offering this new service, it will help improve the health and wellbeing of the people in our community.”
