If you’re finding everyday tasks more difficult, we may be able to help by providing equipment or making changes to your home to make things easier.
Equipment and adaptations are changes to your home that help you move around more safely and manage daily activities.
These can include:
Small changes (minor adaptations)
In many cases, our trained operatives can assess and install these quickly without needing a full assessment.
Larger changes (major adaptations)
These will need an assessment from an NHS occupational therapist to make sure the right solution is in place. These adaptations will be undertaken by the Local Authorities Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) team, bdht will have to give permission for the works to go ahead.
