Bromsgrove’s bdht has once again achieved a massive 98% staff satisfaction score, putting it in second place in a national list of the UK’s Best Workplaces™.
This is the third year that bdht has entered the annual Best Workplaces™ competition, which recognises high trust and high engagement workplace cultures, after coming 7th in 2016 and topping the list at number 1 last year. The not-for-profit organisation came second in its category (for companies with 50-499 employees) in this year’s Great Place to Work® awards after its employees rated the company highly in a detailed, anonymous survey.
Mike Brown, Chief Executive of bdht, said: “We have once again achieved a fantastic staff satisfaction score which is hugely rewarding and gratifying to see. We place great importance and pride in our culture here at bdht and employee happiness, welfare and general wellbeing is a priority for us. When our employees are fulfilled and happy in their roles, they in turn provide the highest level of service to our customers and I am extremely grateful for their continued dedication and hard work.”
The methodology behind the Great Place to Work® list and its success is one of the most rigorous available. It uniquely comprises both an employee survey and an audit into bdht’s organisational management and HR practices. The award celebrates the strength of bdht’s leadership and the range of innovative, creative and effective HR policies that it has formed in its workplace culture.
