There was plenty of sunshine, and even more fun, to be had at the first of our Community Fun Days in Catshill.
We headed to Lingfield Park for an afternoon of games, crafts and entertainment, including a special guest appearance from Bluey. It was brilliant to see so many people of all ages getting involved and enjoying the activities together.
Meeting local organisations
It wasn’t just about the fun and games, though. We were also joined by representatives from a range of organisations working in the local area, including:

Building stronger neighbourhoods
Our Community Fun Days are part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening neighbourhoods and creating opportunities for people to connect with one another in their local community.
Kate adds: “Our first Community Fun Day of the summer was a brilliant success, with families, neighbours and local organisations coming together to enjoy some fun in the sun.
“We’re incredibly grateful to all of our partners who helped make the day possible, and we can’t wait to welcome even more people along to our next two fun days in Sidemoor and Charford.
“We believe strong neighbourhoods are built by bringing people together and creating opportunities to connect with new people, it’s what building vibrant communities together is all about.
