Bdht has over 20 supported housing schemes within the Bromsgrove district, with nearly 1000 Supported Living properties in total. There’s a range of tailored dedicated services including Extra Care, where we are on hand to offer support to those who need it. All of our support for older or disabled residents focuses on making life easier and more enjoyable, with everything from advice to home adaptations available.
Aids & Adaptations
Making small changes and adaptations to both new and existing properties can transform the ease-of-use and every day life for tenants and homeowners with disabilities. Our Occupational Therapists are on hand to help support the needs of our disabled customers as well as help us plan new sheltered properties.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at bdht and so we aim to have the very highest standards in our service. This applies across everything from improving our housing options, developing local facilities to promoting equality.
The emergency call alarm systems are now managed by and paid to Redditch Borough Council, and they can be contacted on 01527 597402.
We work together with Worcestershire Health and Care Trust to offer our tenants Occupational Therapy which can provide great benefits to tenants with physical difficulties. By offering practical solutions, our therapists can help our tenants lead more independent, positive lives. For more information, please get in touch here.
